TU Affiliated MBA College in Nepal
Tribhuvan
University School of Management is the only campus that
offers an MBA program affiliated with TU. It offers Masters in Business
Administration in Corporate Leadership (MBA-CL), Master of Business
Administration in Finance (MBA-F), and Masters of Business Administration in
Marketing (MBA-M) in a semester system each of 60 credit MBA programs. Every year
TU School of Management takes 2 intakes- one in January and the other intake in
July. In each intake, it enrolls 35 students.
Eligibility
criteria for Admission in MBA in TU: Students completing
Bachelors level in BBM, BBA, BTTM, BBS, BPA, BMS, or equivalents in any
discipline with a minimum of 2.00 CGPA or second division marks can apply to
this program. Students waiting for the results of their bachelor's can apply, however, they
have to submit a degree completion certificate at the time of admission.
TU
MBA Entrance Examination: To get admitted to any one of the Masters of Business Administration programs, applicants must appear and succeed
in written test components such as Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability,
Issue-based Essay Writing & Case Analysis.
Entrance
Form: The TU MBA entrance exam notice and entry form
can be found online at the Faculty of Management (FoM) official websites
www.tudoms.org and www.fomecd.edu.np. Applicants must submit an application form
for all MBA programs at the TU Central Department of Management(CDM) located at
Kirtipur, Kathmandu with applicable charges. Moreover, one can go through the
detailed admission procedures, criteria, and selection process on the website
itself.
KU Affiliated MBA College in Nepal
Kathmandu
University School of Management popularly known as KUSOM provides MBA courses in
Nepal affiliated with Kathmandu University. It is two years or 4-semester post-graduate degree with 65 credit hours of studies. Apart from intensive classroom
learning, KUSOM focuses on case methods; group discussion and presentations,
field visits; project work assignments, etc. KUSOM recruits students in 2
intakes: spring semester(February to June) and fall semester(August to
December). The total fees for Nepalese students are Nrs. 545000. Other than
regular MBA classes, KUSOM also offers a 2-year EMBA degree at a very affordable
cost of Nrs. 570000. The EMBA classes are conducted on Saturday (full day) and
one or two evenings on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday (5.30 pm to 8.30pm)
Eligibility
for Admission: Minimum Bachelor's degree of three years duration
in any discipline with a passing score in the KUMAT entrance exam and two letters of
recommendation.
Pokhara University Affiliated MBA Colleges in Nepal
MBA Colleges affiliated with Pokhara University complete 66
credit MBA programs in 2 years in a trimester format. Some of them offer this
program in the evening shift to make it feasible for the working professionals to
continue with their studies. Most of the Pokhara University-affiliated colleges
provide an opportunity to choose courses from concentration areas like
Marketing, Finance, and Human Resource Management.
Eligibility for Admission: The university guidelines state that applicants must complete a minimum of 15 years of formal education including Plus 2 and three years of bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 or 45% in bachelor’s level. Applicants wishing to enroll in Executive MBA should have work experience of 2 years at the officer or executive level.

Purbanchal University affiliated MBA Colleges provide two
